Core components of this program include conducting extensive literature reviews, designing and executing experiments or simulations, analyzing data, and presenting findings in a dissertation. Upon completion of the program and successful defense of their dissertation, graduates are prepared for careers in academia, research institutions, industry, or government agencies, where they can make significant contributions to the advancement of engineering knowledge and practice. Students who joined the Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering program at APU University Malaysia will have the option to apply for the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme. Under this Scheme, students will be able to get 2 Degree Certificates and transcripts upon graduation: 1 from Asia Pacific University (APU), Malaysia, and 1 from De Montfort University (DMU), UK. please note this is optional and costs GBP 375 Per year. For more information about this Scheme (Click here) • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, or its equivalent qualification as accepted by the Senate.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.75 can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fields below a CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant fields.​• Relevant professional accounting qualifications equivalent to a bachelor’s degree as accepted by the Senate.
