Semester 1 focuses on equipping students with language, communication, and information technology skills. The Managing Business module introduces basic concepts and terminologies related to managerial skills, while the Digital Thinking & Innovation module prepares students to adapt to emerging digital technologies. Semester 2 offers modules in professional communications, quantitative methods, international business, and human resource management. These modules further develop students' knowledge and skills in core aspects of business. Semester 3 advances students' understanding of business concepts and procedures, with modules covering business statistics, marketing, business economics, and digital supply chain management. Semester 4 equips students with knowledge and skills in strategic management, statistical analysis, financial aspects of business, and introduces the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and venture creation. Semester 5 allows students to delve into more advanced areas of business and management. The curriculum provides a balance between business theories and practical applications, enabling students to think independently about business and management decisions. Upon successful completion of this programme and fulfillment of requirements for credit transfer, you will be eligible to progress into Level 2 of the following degree programmes offered at APU Students who joined the Diploma in Business Administration at APU University Malaysia will have the option to apply for the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme. Under this Scheme, students will be able to get 2 Degree Certificates and transcripts upon graduation: 1 from Asia Pacific University (APU), Malaysia, and 1 from De Montfort University (DMU), UK. please note this is optional and costs GBP 375 Per year.
