In the first two years of the program, you will acquire core scientific knowledge, including human physiology, the effects of medications, and the processes involved in drug development and design. The emphasis will be on the manufacturing and quality control aspects of medicines. In your final year, you will gain hands-on experience in formulation and manufacturing through placements within the pharmaceutical industry. You will then apply your skills and knowledge to conduct a supervised research project in a specific area of pharmaceutical technology. This program will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for a career in the pharmaceutical industry and related sectors, such as research, regulatory affairs, or the herbal and cosmetics industries. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to pursue further studies at the master’s or PhD level.
