Course Overview
The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Pharmaceutical Technology program at UniKL University Malaysia is a 3 ½ year undergraduate degree that prepares students for careers in the pharmaceutical industry. It covers topics such as drug discovery, formulation, evaluation, and marketing. The program uses a combination of lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and internships for teaching. Assessment methods include continuous assessment and end-of-semester exams. The program aims to produce knowledgeable, competent, and innovative graduates who practice professionalism, have effective communication and leadership skills, value lifelong learning, and can engage in marketing and entrepreneurial activities. The learning outcomes include applying pharmaceutical science knowledge, demonstrating practical skills, understanding social issues, exhibiting ethics and professionalism, effective communication and teamwork, critical thinking, lifelong learning, and management and marketing competencies. STPM/Matriculation/A Level/Pre-University or its equivalent: Minimum CGPA of 2.50 in three science subjects including Chemistry.
