Course Overview

The Diploma of Engineering Technology in Avionics Maintenance program at UniKL University Malaysia is a three-year program that covers avionic systems, their operation, and maintenance. Graduates will be prepared for employment in the aviation industry, including airlines, maintenance organizations, and avionics repair stations. The program focuses on developing knowledge, skills, and professionalism in avionics maintenance, as well as effective communication and teamwork abilities. Graduates will also have a strong understanding of ethical practices, lifelong learning, and business opportunities in the field. SPM: Pass in SPM or its equivalent with at least credits (minimum Grade C and higher) in Mathematics and Natural Sciences or Technical Based Subjects. Upon completion, DET Avionics Maintenance holders may register as an Engineering Technologist and join the industrial workforce to be able to hold positions such as assistant Engineer, senior technician or technician.
