Course Overview

The Diploma of Engineering Technology in Ship Design (DSD) program at UniKL University Malaysia provides students with the knowledge and skills to excel in ship and boat design. They learn about shipbuilding materials, construction techniques, and modern engineering tools. The program aims to produce competent and innovative graduates who can contribute to the marine industry. Graduates will have strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to lifelong learning and ethical practices. They can pursue careers as ship designers, naval architects, or work in shipbuilding and related industries. SPM: Pass in SPM or its equivalent with at least credits (minimum Grade C and higher) in Mathematics and Natural Sciences or Technical Based Subjects.
