Course Overview

The Diploma of Medical Laboratory Technology program at UniKL University Malaysia trains students to become skilled biomedical technologists for biomedical laboratories. Graduates play a vital role in healthcare teams, working in hospitals, clinics, research facilities, and more. The program focuses on knowledge, technical skills, effective communication, professionalism, and lifelong learning. Graduates are equipped to solve laboratory problems, collaborate in teams, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to the field with critical thinking and managerial awareness. SPM: Pass in SPM or its equivalent with pass in Bahasa Melayu and English and five (5) credits in the following subjects: Mathematics, one (1) Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General Science/Applied Science) and any other three (3) subjects including Bahasa Melayu and/or English.
