Course Overview

The Foundation in Medical Sciences program at UniKL University Malaysia is a one-year, full-time study program designed to prepare students for bachelor's degree courses in medicine and health sciences. It aims to develop knowledgeable and competent students in the field of medical sciences by emphasizing basic theory, current concepts, professional behavior, effective use of ICT, quantitative methods, and market relevance. The program equips students with the necessary knowledge, skills, self-management abilities, and characteristics for a successful career in the medical field. Practical elements are incorporated to provide hands-on experience, and medical science-related subjects are offered to provide a focused pathway towards their undergraduate degree. It's important to note that this program is self-sponsored, and no financial assistance is provided to students. SPM/SPMV/O Level: Pass SPM/SPMV/O Level with at least grade B in 5 subjects inclusive: Mathematics or Additional Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, one (1) other subjects.
